Rules for Importing Data via .CSV

The rules for importing are simple:

  1. Make sure your file type is a .CSV file (not .txt, .xlsx, etc.)
  2. MSKU, Cost/Unit, and Purchased Date are a must-have. If you leave the other columns blank, that is okay - headers need to stay though.
  3. Prices cannot have a $ in them
  4. Dates must be in MM/DD/YY or MM/DD/YYYY format
  5. Headings should not have any commas. As a comma-separated import, it will separate incorrectly.
  6. The file name must not contain special characters such as "-" or "()"
