When a User has their Box Content selection flipped randomly by Amazon, there is a way to flip it back using Scratchpad from data gathered in Logentries or from the List>Closed Batches page in Stratify.
** Before doing this, the user must log out completely from Stratify and make sure no one logs back in until they are finished in Seller Central. Once they have logged out, then you can proceed with the steps below **
In this example, we will turn one from OFF to ON
You have two ways to retrieve the information needed to use in Scratchpad.
Option 1:
Go to the List>Closed Batches page and download the shipping plan for the batch. The information from the shipping plan can be used to fill out the required fields in Scratchpad to flip box content.
Option 2:
Open Logentries
Select PRODUCTION_WEB_APP->Production
Click Apply Log Selection at the top
In the Search Field, put the shipment ID in quotes and select a date range that makes sense for when the last time we would have synced shipments for the User. Usually, the same day the ticket was written will be fine.
Hit Enter or the magnifying glass to start the log search
Look for the most recent time you see the term ListInboundShipmentsResponse. A reminder that the most recent info is at the bottom of the log, so you may need to scroll down
Within the text of that response, look for the Shipment ID with the issue. It will be followed by a bunch of other data that reads from left to right
Open Scratchpad
Choose Fulfillment->UpdateInboundShipment
Fill in the Seller's MerchantID, Auth Token, and IL's credentials for the AWSAccessKeyId and Secret Key
You will see that there are a number of fields under Required Parameters
Using Logentries, and reading from left to right, you will find the information you need to put in these fields and copy/paste in the values.
To change Box Content over, you need the following fields in Scratchpad from top to bottom:
- Shipment ID
- Shipment Name
- Address Name
- Address Line 1
- Address Line 2 (if applicable)
- Address City
- Address State
- Address Zip
- Address Country Code
- (skip District or County)
- Destination Fulfillment Center
- (skip Shipment Status)
- Intended Box Content Source (don't use what Logentries says here... use the value you want it to be)
- Leave all other fields left blank
To turn Box Content ON
- Put FEED as your IntendedBoxContentSource
To turn Box Content OFF
- Put NONE as your IntendedBoxContentSource
Once these values are in, scroll to the bottom of Scratchpad and click Submit
You will get a response on the right with a RequestId that looks something like this if nothing was missing
In Stratify, click Sync Shipments, and you will see it update
