When to Pull Reports (and what to pull)

Inventory Reports

Merchant Inventory

  such as quantity of MFN inventory

_GET_FBA_MYI_UNSUPPRESSED_INVENTORY_DATA_ 

Checking quantities of items and what status they are in (fulfillable, unfulfillable, reserved, inbound, etc). 

  • Most commonly used when a User claims his IL inventory does not match what they show in Amazon

Disposition Management

To find the return status for a refund (where we gather the disposition for the disposition management page)

If they did not yet receive the return then it would not be listed within this report.

Settlement Reports
 
_GET_V2_SETTLEMENT_REPORT_DATA_FLAT_FILE_
 
Verifying details on Sales and Refunds including:
 
Quantity
Order Specific Fees (Commission, Variable Closing Fee, Pick and Pack, Weight Based, Order Handling)
Sales Tax collected/refunded on the sale
  • Most commonly used when a User says that their fees for a particular Order/Refund are different than what is being reported in Accounting->FBA/MFN Sales details
  • If we don't have any of the settlement reports, the user will have to request them from Seller Central as we cannot request them to make them active. 
 
_GET_V2_SETTLEMENT_REPORT_DATA_XML_
 
Checking overhead fees including:
 
Inbound Shipping
Removal/Disposal Order
Storage 
Subscription
Advertising
 
  • Most commonly used when a User believes the amount reflected in the Profit and Loss report is incorrect for these fees or if we are not reporting the fees at all for a period(s)
  • If we don't have any of the settlement reports, the user will have to request them from Seller Central as we cannot request them to make them active. 
 
 _GET_V2_SETTLEMENT_REPORT_DATA_FLAT_FILE_V2_
 
Used for checking Merchant Fulfilled Shipping costs
  • Rarely needed, but used to verify the shipping costs for Merchant Fulfilled sales if the User takes advantage of Amazon's shipping discounts and pays using their Amazon distribution
  • If we don't have any of the settlement reports, the user will have to request them from Seller Central as we cannot request them to make them active.

Refunds:

If the user is missing refunds, rerun the settlement report via the Admin Panel. These reports will update the status of the returns (unsellable, sellable, unknown, etc).
