Searching the Catalog

After creating a batch on the List>List & Prep page, you can search for items to add to it from the Amazon Catalog by ASIN, Title, or UPC (can be scanned or typed in.)

Before you do, you can set up your Ideal Buy parameters!  For details please see- Ideal Buy, Desired ROI, and Rank Thresholds

You can also check if you are restricted from selling products by Amazon while listing.  For more information, please see- Product Alerts

To search for products to add to your batch, make sure either the Amazon Catalog or Amazon + Unlisted search option is selected.

Then, click the batch name you want to add the item to under Open Batches and enter the information into the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of the screen:

The items on the list from a product search show the following information:

At this point, you have a few options.  If you know which item you want to list against, click Select to move to the Item Listing Details page, where you can enter purchase details for it and add it to the batch.

Or, if the item has variations, click the Select Variations button to choose the correct ASIN for your variation before moving on to the Item Listing Details page.  For more information, please see- Parent/Child ASINs

If you want to do some research to see which listing best matches your item, click the product title to be taken to the detailed product listing on Amazon (this opens in a new browser tab)

If you choose a listing by clicking Select and then determine it is incorrect, you can click the List & Prep breadcrumb link to go back to the search results list.
